I'm officially voting December as the busiest month of the year. With the holidays and everyone trying to get things squared away before vacation time it has me running in circles with little time to relax. It's weeks like the past few that I've been having where I've realized I never appreciated down time nearly as much as I should've. A chaotic work week has me more than prepared to relax this weekend. I'll be heading back to sweet little Charleston to celebrate a friends birthday, spend time with those I now don't get to live down the street from and learn to walk just a tad bit slower and appreciate the relaxation.
Amidst the constant movement this week has provided, it's the little things that have kept me sane and smiling in simple delight...
[a gold notebook for organizing my to-do lists]
[a gift from a friend- our favorite restaurant in Florence, Italy]
[brand new sharpies]
[holiday gift tags]
[festive straws]
What do y'all have planned for the weekend?
Hope it's a wonderful one!
I completely agree. What a nut-so month and work week. I think I'll mentally try to walk a bit slower too. Deep yoga breaths have gotten me through this week, ha.
