Friday Five

Don't get me wrong, I love summer, but once August hits I get especially happy. It's officially birthday month friends and this year marks the quarter century celebration. At age 8 I used to think once you hit life in your twenties you were considered "old". What was I thinking? That's when life gets really fun!

This weekend I'm hoping to soak up some summer sun lounging poolside with good friends, squeeze in some hot yoga and enjoy my only August weekend in Atlanta. 

[Tunics have been one of my go-to's this summer. They're great tossed over bathing suits, paired with jeans/shorts for an everyday outfit or worn with a slip under as a dress]

[Snail mail will always be my favorite. This little card is on it's way to St. Louis in hopes of cheering a certain doctor up during a hard rotation :) ]

[Target's bootie selection is amazing so far. This moccasin version is so comfortable and I can't wait to pair them with jeans or casual dresses.]

 [Homemade zoku popsicles are my new favorite dessert. The combinations are endless and they're so much healthier than the store bought versions. The one above is greek yogurt+blueberries+granola]

 [I'm blown away by Brittany Fuson's illustrations. It was hard picking out which one to order first. They're perfect for an office, dressing table or bedroom.]
