friday five

The week seemed to fly by for me and I don't hate that it's already Friday. While working in Raleigh this week I had the opportunity to explore the beautiful town of Wake Forest, visit with family friends and enjoy their cooler temps (it's still warm in s.carolina). There's nothing like coming home after being gone for a few days to your own things. I love being able to make some hot tea, grab blankets and curl up on the couch after a night spent in a hotel. On the agenda for this weekend is a trip to the farmers market, picking out a pumpkin and meetings friends for sushi amongst other things. Here are some things that have brought me joy all week long...

[a new scent by viktor & rolf]
[a classic lamp with a flair to spice up my bedroom]
[hot chocolate to warm the soul]

    That platter is so cute, and I am loving the fedora! I thought I was going to have to break out the hot chocolate.... but yesterday was almost 80 and today is suppose to be in the high 80's. The weather is definitely being bi-polar.

    I love the lamp!! And that hat is great!
    This weekend I am going to tailgate and go to the AL game and cooking something pumpkin maybe on Sunday :) I am 2 weeks away from my half marathon so a long run will go down on Sunday! Have a great weekend :)
