As the heat starts creeping towards the three digits in the southeast and midwest, I find myself reaching for anything that will help me beat the heat. From my favorite hat to a chic pair of sunglasses, it's not the easiest to fight the summer sun stylishly (I'm looking at you humidity).

Big things are happening over at Warby Parker with the launch of their amazing new Meridian Collection.
The three new styles from the collection are named after some of the great writers and adventures of the past: Frederick Exley, Ellen Raskin and Flannery O'Connor. Cool cats that not only wrote of adventures, but actually lived them. Of course using the name Meridian for the collection was only fitting since it's the geographical mark that pilots use to determine precise location.
Whether you're hitting the road this summer or pulling a Ferris Buller, these shades are the perfect travel companion are they not?

Warby Parker is incredible. My eyes are too bad to make bothering between prescription glasses and sunglasses worthwhile (i'm legally blind without corrections... i just stick to contacts) but these are so cute I'm starting to rethink that idea.
