Know the rule, when you find a basic t-shirt that you like, buy five of them? These are the ones they're talking about, and ones I'd gladly stock up on. While they may cost more than your average tee, they're beyond worth it. The material is seriously soft and they have the perfect slouchiness to them.

Since they're lightweight, they carry well through the seasons and will become your go to for traveling, running errands or lounging around the house. In the summer I wear them with shorts and skirts and in the winter they're great for layering under blazers and wrapping a big, cozy scarf around.

    I have an Alexander Wang tee, but I actually like my tshirts from splendid way more! The Alex Wang tanks definitely beat everyone else's out though :)

    I love Alexander Wang items - his tees although expensive hang so well and are super soft.

    Totally agree. Pay more for the staples you wear all the time - they're most likely better quality and last longer too!

    I love James Perse tees, but they're quite the splurge... I'll buy just about anything super soft and light!
